I really want something… something special
Guess what. All of us from TA9(substituted from TA8) wore RED!!!!
It was very red. We all sat together in lecture, and tutorial. We even went out to lunch and tea break together. It looked like some sort of ‘red’ society having some function. Where ever we went people started staring at us. With the evil laughter. It made us all feel embarrassed. We walk out of school together, so we really did look odd.
The red gang!!!! We took pictures together at the stairs. Asked people for help. Took quite a lot. But we end up taking it ourselves. It was my first picture taken in the campus. PD Block. Quite a nice block, but have to climb up and down all the time.
We did laugh a lot today. non stop. I think. I don’t know why, oonly Sook Yi manage to tear the RM5. None of us were able to do that. I wonder how she tore it so easily. We tried to trick people by gathering the RM5 together and put it in a place where people will pass by. It end up no one pass through there. We wanted to see who is so greedy. Rm5 also want. Even we put infront of teacher, teacher also don’t want. See how boring were we.
When our computer studies teacher came in our class, she asked why so red? So stricking. We look like those people who sell ‘ Wo Lai Ye’. Chicken logo on our T-shirt…..HAHAHA!!!!So funny. It was really fun to wear red together but a bit of a malu…when everyone starts to stare a you. They even say want to wear Hawaii style!!!
My first day was not that good….
i was so blur. Woke up late…. but wasn’t late for class. I was early. Guess
what was my first phrase was when i opened my golden mouth? "Er…. do you
know where PD 007 is?’ Haha, and that’s when i made my first friend….(which
will be my fairy friend)….Mable. Nice, cute, friendly…got her own style. I
started my classes late because I missed the orientation class and a week of
lesson. GOsh!!! That’s real lot! I had to photostat the whole pile of notes
myself!!!! But still haven’t finish photostating…. I still have a lot of
missing pages…. Already 2 assignments were given out and i missed all the explaining
session! (I think) but i think the teacher will repeat. Stream A….that’s
where I belong. TA8 is my fairy class. That’s just a name, no fix
class. Just have to hang around before class starts. My class only has
like….12 people. We were the last few odd ones who started the class late,
just like me. All also blur case. Some times the class is at the basement
floor, sometimes the highest floor…!!! Our class had to run straight down
right after finish class, pity us. Don’t know how they put the time table. End up
we had no place to sit. The only place is the back….behind everyone. I hate it…because
we’ll be behind of 200 students! That’s during lecture classes. Thank god!
Lucky my friend, Mable (not in the same class, but course) help reserved me a
place which save me and my friend some energy. I’m so grateful….Thank you!!! Many
replacement classes have to be done because of Chinese New Year. So we have to
go back for classes on Saturdays. It’s just the second week and teacher is
already starting to talk about exam. So scary. Our English teacher asked us to
prepare our speech for the exam. 5 minutes for this time. 10 minutes the next
time, you have to use power point or something like that…. It freaked us out!!!!
One thing that really shocked me was….. none of my friend actually call me, Francine. Instead, everyone is calling my chinese name!!!! I haven’t been using it for 5 years…. and now people are using it! They say it’s hard to pronounce and hard to remember!!! Is that so? I don’t think so… haha.
i was a gd thing….i volunteered at da maha vihara temple…as a waitress….
gosh it’s really a tough job… carrying the jug of water, walking around… asking,’Tea or water, sir?’
nice experience…. no regrets… but one thing’s for sure, hotel management is definitely out from my list…. no way i’m gonna study dat… but maybe culinary art or touring. lucky no one complain…. they got to know that we were juz volunteering. student from BISDS. whew! some ppl really dun respect…. they dun even say tq or look at you… but some are very kind… they say tq… n smile… nv scolded us.. knowing that we are not profesionals…. haha. many high ranking monks n nuns were there…. all were vips!!!! started that job at 6:30…… guess when it ended? 11 something!!!! hv to clear all da tables n chairs!!! cleaning up was the worst thing i’ve ever done… no wonder my mom use to scold us when ever we tried mixing differrent stuff together! it is really a tough job to clear it away…. the table is in a mess…. water spilt every where… bones… on the table.. tissue paper thrown here n there… disgusting… but as an experience… it’s memorable… at least i felt the feeling before….
everyday it’s a boring day…wake up, breakfast, play, lunch, play, nap, piano….. this is my everyday time table!!!1 so boring!!! how gd if i am able to find an office job! but dat’s not dat easy…. most of my friends hv aldi started their college life…. i’m still bluring at home… do nothing… sigh.
